NEXUS 101: This is an introduction to NPR’s broadcast content management system called Nexus. In this session, we show you how to create and manage NEXUS cards and their properties, and how NPR uses cards to support and manage its news coverage. 

Who: This session is intended for employees who will be or are currently using NEXUS for their job.

 In this session, you’ll cover:

  • Creating and managing NEXUS cards and their properties
  • Searching and navigating My Assignments, Cards, and Assets
  • Creating text, DACS, script, and cover documents in Storyteller 
  • Importing Ops daily recordings in RAW AUDIO
  • Cardboard and show rundown workflow
  • Nexus and Seamus/Grove integration…and more
