Andraéa LaVant is the president and chief inclusion officer of LaVant Consulting Inc., a communications firm that offers corporate development and content marketing for brands and nonprofits. Through LaVant Consulting, LaVant teaches brands ways to create disability-inclusive marketing campaigns.

She was the impact producer for the Oscar-nominated 2020 documentary Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution, leading the film’s impact campaign to promote understanding of disability as a social justice issue. 

Previously, LaVant was inclusion specialist for the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital and worked on youth leadership programs with Youth Service America and the Institute for Educational Leadership. She holds a B.S. in advertising and public relations from Middle Tennessee State University. 

She’s appeared on Washington Post Live, Good Morning America, NBCBLK and other outlets.
