Brittany Packnett Cunningham is an activist and commentator on issues of race and justice with a book, We Are Like Those Who Dream, due in 2022. She is an NBC News and MSNBC contributor, and host of UNDISTRACTED, a news and justice podcast with an intersectional lens on the world.
Packnett was a member of President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing and the Ferguson Commission, and co-hosted the podcast Pod Save The People for three years. In 2019, she gave the popular TED Talk “How to build your confidence — and spark it in others,” and in 2018, she was a fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics.
