Dr. Praveen Mummaneni is a neurosurgeon at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. He teaches at and vice-chairs the UCSF department of neurosurgery, as well as co-directs UCSF’s Spine Center.
As a neurosurgeon, Mummaneni specializes in complex cervical spine surgery and in minimally invasive spine surgery for a variety of conditions, including degenerative spinal disease, spinal deformity (scoliosis) and spinal tumors. He is also the editor of several textbooks on spinal surgery.
