Dr. Rachel Bervell is a medical resident at John Hopkins University who focuses on health equity and reproductive health and justice. She co-founded The Black ObGyn Project, an organization for Black OB-GYN residents that focuses on anti-racism, equity and inclusion. Her interests also include community engagement and population health.
Bervell was named the National Medical Association’s Top Physician Under 40 in 2021. She holds undergraduate degrees in neuroscience and global health from Harvard University, an M.S. from Georgetown University, and an M.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine.
