Sung Won Sohn is a professor of finance and economics at Loyola Marymount University and president of SS Economics, an economic consulting firm. His interests include the international economy, especially Pacific-Rim countries, and China’s impact on the global economy.
Previously, Sohn was a professor at California State University, Channel Islands, held several positions in the banking world, and was senior economist on the President’s Council of Economic Advisors in The White House.
The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News and Blue Chip publications have all ranked Sohn on their lists of accurate economists in the past.
