Anirudh Shingal is an associate professor in economics at the S P Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai, India. He’s spent more than a decade in academia and research, and nearly two decades conducting data and policy analysis of international trade and development issues.

Sheela Ahluwalia is the senior labor analyst at Transparentem, a nonprofit that works to expose environmental and human rights abuses in global supply chains. She investigates where and how companies source their products, looking for abuses such as forced labor, child labor and human trafficking.

Angela Anandappa is the founding executive director of the nonprofit Alliance for Advanced Sanitation, an organization focused on improving food safety.
